In collaboration with Mugii Restaurant, I developed a menu concept shaped by the space’s atmosphere and overall narrative. The process was deliberate and restrained, considering how dishes and drinks are structured, paired, and presented to align with the tone of the environment.

Conceived as a natural extension of the dining experience, the menu balances comfort with a sense of refinement.

This project became an exploration of how a menu can communicate not only the offering, but also the spirit and character of a space.

Designing a bar menu for a home environment was less about decoration and more about interpretation. Working with unfamiliar subject matter, from spirits to cocktail structures, required a shift in how I approached both research and presentation.

The process became an exercise in clarity. How to organize, simplify, and translate complexity into something that feels natural and considered.

In the end, it was a reminder that design is not always about what we know, but how we learn, adapt, and make sense of what we don’t.
